HomePro started with hands-on contracting work in 1986 and became HomePro Companies in 2001. HomePro holds a Texas builder license granted in 2009, before the state stopped issuing them, which is why licensed general contractors are increasingly hard to find in Texas today.

We hire and train our own pros

We build our team by hiring and training employees instead of rotating subcontractors, which is where most turnover and quality problems start. Many of our pros have been with us more than ten years. We pay them well and run the company like a family, with high standards for honesty and pride in the work.

Full-service, cross-trained pros

Plumbers usually don't paint, and drywall crews don't swap fixtures. HomePro cross-trains every pro for full service, so the same person can frame, patch, tile, paint, and replace a faucet without waiting on someone else. That saves time and money, and nobody points fingers at another trade.

When a job needs new electrical circuits or new plumbing runs, we bring in a state-licensed tradesperson. That runs about $60 per man-hour more, and we always talk it through with you first.

Sized to the job

• One pro for repairs and smaller remodels, no matter how small the task.
• Two pros when materials are long or heavy, the work is up high, or a deadline calls for a faster pace.
• Three or more for large residential and commercial projects.

Honest, flexible pricing

Most projects have unknowns. Instead of guessing at a flat price and moving the goal posts later, we charge $90 per man-hour with a 3-hour minimum, and materials at our cost with no markup. You stay in control of every decision as the work unfolds.

These are the jobs other contractors find hard to plan and resolve, and we take pride in getting them right.
