Why we charge by the man‑hour
Most contractors make a special trip just to give you a price, then guess at what is behind the wall. When the guess is wrong, the price moves anyway.
We think that is backwards. With a 3-hour minimum, your pro can diagnose the problem and start fixing it on the first visit. You see exactly what is happening, make decisions with someone who knows the trade, and stop whenever you choose.
Flooring and other stable, repeatable work can be quoted per square foot instead.
